Plenty of racing action is guaranteed during the three day event, with 18 out of a possible 24 teams preregistered for both the Top Fuel Dragster and Fuel Funny Car competitions. In addition, 24 teams out of a possible 26 have made plans to compete in the Pro Stock competition.

In all, more than 84-percent of the possible entry slots have been filled in the eight categories of competition for the NHRA Full Throttle event – an annual highlight of the Arizona motor sports calendar.

The second stop on the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series 2009 schedule, there is no telling what you might see at this event. From the moment you walk through the gates, you realize this is what they mean when you say “SPEED”!. Nothing compares to witnessing one of these cars blast down one of the fastest quarter mile tracks in the country. This is the event where you can’t help but get excited because you hear it…smell it… and feel it.
